14-18 February 2012, Nagoya University

Description: NWW2012 is the third of a series of workshops held in Nagoya University, aiming to achieve advances in quantum information, quantum measurement, and quantum foundations, by exploring new research dealing with (but not limited to) quantum information theory, quantum estimation and decision theory, quantum information thermodynamics, quantum measurement theory, quantum metrology and uncertainty principle, weak measurement and weak values, axiomatizations of quantum theory, foundations of quantum field theory, category theoretical and set theoretical foundations of physical theories, and experimental investigations of quantum foundations.

Invited Speakers and Session Chairs: Giulio Chiribella (PI, Waterloo), Roger Colbeck (PI, Waterloo), Giacomo M. D’Ariano (Pavia U), Andreas Doering (U of Oxford), Yuji Hasegawa (TU Vienna), Takeyuki Hida (Nagoya U), Akio Hosoya (TITech, Tokyo), Andrei Khrennikov (Linnaeus U, Växjö), Yuichiro Kitajima (Nihon U, Narashino), Pekka Lahti (Turku U), Izumi Ojima (Kyoto U), Paolo Perinotti (Pavia U), Miklos Redei (LSE, London), Akira Shimizu (Tokyo U), Shogo Tanimura (Nagoya U), Izumi Tsutsui (KEK, Tsukuba), Mark M.
