Volunteer Positions

NWSS Library welcomes applications for student volunteers throughout the year.  Students can gain valuable volunteer hours whilst gaining transferrable skills for future employment.
Students commit to as much time as they want, provided they are able to attend ONE lunch hour training
(11:28-11: 45) per week.  Additional volunteer time can be contributed during the following hours:
Morning: 8:00-8:30
Lunch: 11:28 -12:28
After School:  3:10 - 3:30
Grade 12s: Students with designated study blocks may contribute a portion of that time as well.
Volunteer Training:
It is expected that students will attend ONE 15-min. training session held during lunch hour (11:28-11:45) per week.  Please sign up for a designated day so we know when to expect you.  Students who cannot attend training sessions are not eligible for volunteer positions.
