Animoto - a free web application that automatically generates a video out of still images. Animoto videos can look like a music video or movie trailer.
Audacity. a free audio editing software that mixes music tracks, records, and plays sounds. Slows down, speeds up, and mixes tracks together (ie: your voice + a song)
Glogster. This site will help you build interactive posters with film clips, pictures, and images.
Pixton - a click and drag comic / graphic novel creator. Choose from a wide menu of customizable characters, fonts, and speech bubbles.

YouTube Downloader - software to download and convert YouTube video so you can show it in class without an internet connection.
Zamzar - Free online file conversion. Convert YouTube videos, change your essays from Word Perfect to MS Word, select different versions of MS Word, etc. Zamzar YouTube video download: (1) copy a YouTube URL, (2) open the Zamzar site and select the Download Video tab, (3) paste the video URL into the slot, (4) select a video conversion format (ie: flv, or wmv) and (5) provide an e-mail address where download details are provided.
