Google Scholar is a free search engine for scholarly literature, articles, theses, books, etc from  academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.The Google Scholar index includes most peer-reviewed online journals of Europe and America's largest scholarly publishers.

New Westminster Public Library: The library's online databases include science, magazine and newspaper articles, social issues, history and literature. A New West Public Library Card is required.

Canadian Information By Subject is an information service developed by the Library and Archives Canada to provide links to information about Canada from Internet resources around the world. The subject arrangement is in the form of a "Subject Tree", based on the structure of the Dewey Decimal Classification system.

The Dictionary of Canadian Biography Online provides access to the 15 volumes already in print and to
a selection of biographies from unprinted volumes. Search for persons who died between the years 1000 and 1930 or whose last known date of activity falls within these years.
