Our Services

We provide support to jurisdictions to manage
  • Incidents that pose unique situational and/or incident management requirements
  • Planned events that require coordination of multiple agencies and organisations or pose significant response challenges
  • Extended term multi-operational period incidents 
  • Incidents that require technical specialists and subject matter experts or single resources

Team Activation

The NWMIMT is activated through the Franklin County Emergency Communication System with Shelburne Control Dispatch serving as the Tri-State Fire Mutual Aid dispatch center and regional Control Point.

  • New MA Task Force 1 YouTube Video of Vigilant Guard 2016 Search and Rescue Exercise NWMIMT  participated in the full-scale exercise in Jericho Vermont last month at Camp Ethan Allen. Our task was to to provide incident support for the Urban Search and Rescue teams after a simulated earthquake affecting a large scale rural area, during an outbreak of pneumonic plague.   Here is an excellent video of the work that Massachusetts Urban Search and Rescue Team (MA Task Force 1) did at the exercise.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnCXuzcj8G0

  • IMT Qualifications System Guide Revision The Board of Directors  of the All-Hazaards Incident Management Team Associationat its regular monthly meeting held May 2, 2016 adopted the May 2016 revision of the Interstate Incident Management Teams Qualifications System (IIMTQS) Guide for immediate publication and use. This revision replaces the May 2015 IIMTQS Guide. The link for the Guide is on the Home page of the Associations website, AHIMTA@AHIMTA.ORG The May 2016 revisions to the IIMTQS Guide were primarily the additions of Position Descriptions, revisions to the Position Task Book task codes, and the Recognition of Prior Learning Self-Assessment & Portfolio Worksheet.
