Northern Virginia Recorder Society
NVRS is a chapter of the American Recorder Society. We get together to play music on recorders and related instruments. The music ranges from medieval to contemporary. Our skill levels range from beginner to advanced. We meet about twice a month, and occasionally perform in public. You're welcome to join us.
We meet on Sunday evenings of each month — please check the calendar for the exact dates. We play from 6:30-8:30 P.M. The meeting place is 7617 Little River Turnpike, Suite 710, Annandale, Virginia 22003. (Summer 2023: Note that rehearsals are temporarily suspended. We anticipate resuming shortly, so please check back.)
For more information, please email Ed Friedler, President of NVRS, at friedlerfam@gmail.com.
