Summer Research Award

The University funds 15 summer research awards in the amount of $5,200 each. An important aim of the program is to provide seed money for projects that can lead to external funding. One of 15 summer stipends is reserved for a special theme:
  • Scholarship of Teaching Grant: This grant was established to recognize the importance of teaching at Niagara University.

The application is available online.

1. Login into MYNU. Look at the long list of links on the left side of your screen. Click “Grants Management Database.”

2. In the Grants Management Database, click “Initiate a Project” on the left side of the screen.

3. Select “Research Council” as the type of grant you are completing.

4. You can start a grant, save it, and finish it later. But don’t use the “Back Button” because that will result in the loss of some of your  work.

The submission deadline is January 6, 2014.
