- Tropical herpetofauna responses to anthropogenic disturbances, habitat fragmentation and loss, edge and matrix effects, successional cronosequences and productive systems

- Herpetofaunal species distribution models (SDM) and their use to: (a) evaluate climate change effects on the distribution of invasive species, (b) assess Protected Area' efficiency to conserve endemics, and (c) design biological conservation area networks.

-Relationship between species´ natural history traits, functional diversity and ecosystem processes

      TROPICAL DRY FOREST: CARIBEAN REGION AND OTHERS..

- Multiscale evaluation of the effects of landscape transformation on the reptile fauna of the Caribbean Region of Colombia. 

-Effects of climate change on habitat suitability for the tortoise Chelonoidis carbonaria in the Caribbean region of Colombia.

-Microhabitat use and preferences of reptiles and amphibians in a gradient of vegetation in an agroecosystem at the tropical dry forest of the Huila Dept.

-Amphibian and reptile ensembles in productive systems (silvopastoral arrangements) at the tropical dry forest in the department of Tolima.

-Amphibian diversity along arboreal elements (life fences and isolated trees) in the the Tropical Dry Forest landscape in Pandi, Cundinmarca.
