About Us

The Northeastern University Equestrian Team (NUEQ) is a competitive club sport team showing in Zone 1, Region 2 of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The team competes in Hunt Seat Equitation classes and is trained by head coach Kate Roncarati at Cranberry Acres Equestrian in Marshfield, MA. The team at Cranberry Acres also consists of Julie Kelly, barn owner and trainer, and Carleton Chandler, owner of Marshfield Cranberry Company which houses the gorgeous CAE facility.  

NUEQ is open to all undergraduate students of all riding backgrounds and experience levels – the club encourages everyone interested to try out.
