Overview
This course covers several important and interesting topics in image processing and computational photography, such as colorization, texture synthesisinpaintingHDR imagingtone mappingdeblurringdenoisingsuper-resolutionmattingeditingwarping, and so on. The goal of this course is to study recent work on the selected topics and to provide students with hands-on experience of related techniques.

    We are going to cover the topics of deblurring and denoising next week.
    The related reading list has been posted.
    The first two papers are required reading for next week's class:
    1. Removing Camera Shake from a Single Image
    2. A Non-local Algorithm for Image Denoising
    
    I also post some links to the Matlab code for deblurring and denoising.
    You may try those programs and see if they can improve the photos taken by your camera obscura.
