Welcome to our group's website, for all-things bonsai in the North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent area.

We cover (as our name suggests) the North Staff's and Stoke areas and we sit between four other bonsai societies in the region (see 'Links' page for more info on these).

We currently meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Fenton area of Stoke, a short distance off the A500 (See Meeting Programme for more info).

Alongside this website, we also have a Facebook page and group as well as e-mail contact lists, through which we handle most of the 'day to day' contact and information for our members and followers.  See below for links....

Recruiting new members...
Having almost tripled in size in the last year, we will always welcome new, or returning members with open arms.  More information can be found about our exciting Programme by following the tab above...

Membership/Meeting costs
We have retained the membership costs at the level that they were at during 2015 with these being outlined in the table below.

Guests, prospective members, and visitors from other FOBBS registered societies are welcome to our meetings, but will be asked to support the club by paying the same entry fees as our own members during club workshop sessions.  For those sessions where we have a guest artist or speaker presenting we ask that visitors make a contribution of £5 (in line with neighbouring bonsai societies approach), however, should prospective members subsequently join, then £3 will come off their annual membership fee to bring this in line with our own member rates. These rates include the provision of tea/coffee and normally biscuits/cakes.

In the interests of politeness if organised visits to the club are being considered or planned, please do let us know beforehand so we can ensure you have a warm welcome (and sufficient biscuits!!).

 Membership Costs Member Guest
 Annual membership £20 N/A
 Couple's membership £30 N/A
 Normal workshop £2 £2

Membership costs for people joining mid-year can be calculated on a 'pro-rata' basis should they wish.
