NRHH is the recognition branch of the National Association for College and University Residence Halls (NACURH). As such, NRHH is there to make sure that we don't forget to give those more-than-deserved pats on the back.
The basic way NRHH works on campus is through a chapter. NRHH chapters have a very special way of recognizing those top leaders, by membership. The NRHH chapter membership (per school) is restricted to 1% of students living in the residence halls. So, once inducted into NRHH you can consider yourself a member of the top 1% of residence hall leaders.
The North Carolina State University chapter has 85 active members for its top 1%. In total, we have inducted over 200 members over the years. We are an active chapter, doing inductions each semester and OTM recognition year-round. We are affiliated on the state level with the North Carolina Association of Residence Halls (NCARH), and on the regional level with the South Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (SAACURH).
To learn more about these organizations their websites are links at the bottom of the page. NRHH holds a board room at the NCARH, SAACURH, and NACURH conferences each year, along with the two annual business meetings. NCSU sends a member of our chapter to represent the university in all NRHH decisions. The NRHH national level consists of the national office.
The National Office is responsible for affiliating NRHH chapters, selecting national "Of the Months" (OTMs), designing the apparel line (T-shirts, pins, etc.), and a host of other tasks.
