How To Help

We are a 501c3 Non Profit Charity!  If you need your donation forms for 2010 or 2011 taxes immediately, please email us at nmsgdr@hotmail.com.  It will take us some time to catch up!

Monetary Donations:

Donate to this organization through Drs. Foster and Smith

There is a definite need for funds to provide our rescues with veterinary services, from routine shots and checkups, to the very costly heartworm treatments.  (**Please be advised that we are awaiting our non-profit status approval from the IRS, therefore any monetary donations are not at this time tax deductible, and would simply be a labor of love.**)

We accept Paypal donations, and we are also a cause on iGive.com, a great online shopping resource.  Every time you shop/purchase anything online through their website, we receive a donation! Easy as that!  You just have to follow this link, http://www.iGive.com/nmsgdr, follow the instructions and shop online like you normally do and watch your donations to us add up!!  Oh, and there is a search bar on this site too! Try iGive searching, and earn us a penny with every real search you might have otherwise Googled.

Foster:

We of course are always in need of wonderful fosters, who take a Dane into their home and give it not only the temporary home and love it needs, but also sometimes the socialization and/or rehabilitation it may require to be able to be an adoption success.

Volunteer:

Want to help, but not ready to foster??  If you can donate some time, we need volunteers to perform various tasks, like performing home inspections for new fosters or potential adopters, transporting dogs (either long distance to/from NMSGDR or just taking them to vet visits, etc.), helping with meet-and-greets and events, etc.   Click here to let us know how you can be a Dane Angel!

Items:

We can always use blankets (used/worn are perfectly fine!), old towels, dog beds(firm crib mattresses work well also), collars/leashes, toys, chew treats, dog crates (XL-XXL preferred), and various items for foster homes.

Veterinary Services:

We have a list of veterinarians that work with us, so credits to those vets for future services is always a great need.  Please contact us for a list of providers.

Of course, if you have any other suggestions as to how you can help, please do not hesitate to contact us!  We welcome your assistance.
