A very warm welcome to the website of North Ledaig Company Ltd.

Our 30 acre Caravan park has a spectacular sea-shore location with breathtaking views towards the distant islands and is conveniently located near to the picturesque town of Oban with ferry connections to the islands, making North Ledaig Caravan Park an ideal base for your holiday.

Nestled alongside two miles of private, west-facing sand and shingle beach North Ledaig Caravan Park truly finds itself on the shore of its very own peaceful bay where you will find safe bathing water, warmed by the embrace of the Gulf Stream. A site where children can explore again in the open air, adventuring off with friends, biking and conquering the parks adventure playground. For those wishing to take the bus into Oban we have a bus stop conveniently located just across the main road from the site.

You will also find lots to see & do in the local area from fine dining, walking, sailing and visiting historic castles, such as Inveraray, home of the Duke of Argyll, or Dunstaffnage, across our bay, which was the historic home of kings of Scotland, and there are other historic buildings such as Bonawe Iron Furnace at Taynuilt, which manufactured Iron for cannon balls. There are many ancient standing stones and cup markings around the area with a very interesting museum at Kilmartin, which explores the ancient occupation of Argyll. There are also plenty of beautiful gardens to explore locally, especially colourful in the spring when the azaleas and rhododendrons, which love the West Coast climate, are in full bloom.

Why not take a day trip on the ferry over to the Isle of Mull and continue by bus across the island to visit the wonderful sacred Isle of  Iona, a tranquil and peaceful place of pilgrimage. Or cross the seas to the unique Island of Staffa and visit Fingal's Cave and hear the haunting melody of Felix Mendelssohn's Hebridean Overture.

In the early part of the summer when the Puffins are on land there are many boat trips over to the Treshnish Islands, and you may also catch sight of Minke Whales on a Whale Watching trip. Sometimes there are Dolphins seen swimming in Oban Bay, and we get Otters on our beach.

So when you are planning your next Caravan holiday why not consider North Ledaig Caravan Park as your next holiday destination.
