Welcome to North Curry

Pavilion & Playing Field!

A great place for celebrations, meetings, outdoor play and sports training

Set on the edge of the village, the playing field boasts an attractive and recently redecorated Pavilion, playground equipment for young children, an all-weather Multi-Use Games Area, football pitch, brick built BBQ and a large car park.

These facilities are available for all to enjoy and we host several thriving local groups; they also make a great venue for celebrations, children’s parties and meetings.

North Curry Pavilion & Playing Field is a charity with responsibility for running the facilities to promote sports and leisure activities in the local community.

The Play Park and MUGA are open in line with government guidance.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER BUT GO HOME AND SELF ISOLATE

We are advised that we must inform all users of the following rules:

1.      This is an UNSUPERVISED PUBLIC AMENITY.  Children under the age of 11 must be supervised by an adult who confirm that they accept the potential risks associated.  Hygiene of the equipment cannot be guaranteed by the North Curry Pavilion & Playing Field Committee.

2.      No food and drink should be consumed on the site to prevent transmission of the virus. Regretfully, we cannot allow use of the benches because of this.

3.      Social distancing should be maintained in line with the prevailing government guidance at the time of the visit.

4.      We recommend one child per piece of equipment unless from the same household or within the same ‘bubble’.

5.      You are responsible for your own hygiene if you choose to use this public play equipment and MUGA.

6.      Please sanitise yours and your children’s hands before and after using the equipment or MUGA and avoid touching your face, mouth, eyes and nose whilst playing.

7.      Ensure you wash hands thoroughly with soap and water when you get home for at least 20 seconds.

8.      Please ensure all rubbish is taken home or safely disposed of in the bins provided.

9.      The MUGA can be used following the published social distancing guidance and the above guidance.
