North Coast Historical Model Railroad Society (NCHMRS) Operates an HO scale layout based on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad as it ran in the 1950's through Sonoma County to Ukiah. The club is building the layout as a display for the Depot Museum and will be located in the historic Healdsburg Freight Depot.

Our goals are simple:

• Have fun building a layout and running trains with people from in and around  Sonoma County.

• Share the layout as a display with our neighbors at the NWP Freight Depot in Healdsburg (And all of the folks who want to come from further away, of course!)

• Provide opportunities for people to learn about and appreciate the hobby, and to give   them the chance to develop and show off their skills to other modelers and to the   public.

• To help preserve the NWP Freight Depot in Healdsburg as the Healdsburg Depot Museum and actively participate in the formation of the future Railroad Park at the depot in concert with the NWPRRHS and RELSIM.
