Our Staff

Our knowledgeable staff has over forty five collective years of  animal care experience.  We are dedicated in providing your pet with compassionate and high quality health care.  The years of experience have allowed all staff members to be familiar with each aspect of hospital operations.  Please feel comfortable addressing questions to each and all of the North Canton Veterinary Clinic staff and take a few minutes to learn more about us with the following biographies.

Denise is our most seasoned staff member starting as a veterinary assistant in March of 1992.  Her biology and medical technology classes at Bowling Green along with her vast experience with her own animals (she currently has six cats and two dogs) has built the foundation for her career at NCVC.  She also serves the practice as our human dictionary, encyclopedia and spell check.  Outside of the practice, Denise enjoys swimming, fishing and spending time with her grandson.  An avid Browns and Cavs fan she shares the frustration of all Ohio sports fan.

After attending classes at Kent State Stark, Sharon began her career at NCVC in November of 1993 as a veterinary assistant.  When phoning the clinic, it is often Sharon’s voice that you will hear first.  A passionate cook, she enjoys her time in the kitchen trying new and different foods.  We are fortunate to be the taste testers of some of those treats.  She shares her home with her husband of thirty five years and her two cats Divot and Diva.  Sharon enjoys gardening, golfing, traveling, playing cards and is the proud grandmother of four grandchildren.

Dasha began her work in the veterinary field as a kennel assistant at Stark Animal Hospital in 2000.  She joined the staff at NCVC in October 2003 while attending classes at Cuyahoga Community College.  She graduated the following May receiving her Associates Degree and passing her licensing exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.  Her nursing carries over into her own home as she cares for her paralyzed dog, two cats (one with three legs), and tank of fish. When not relaxing at home with her husband and two sons, she is active with the Boy Scouts of America.

January of 2005 brought Angie and her varied animal experience to NCVC.  Her twelve plus years in the field of veterinary medicine have included companion animal, exotics and working at an emergency veterinary clinic.  Angie has a passion for horses and enjoys horseback riding when time allows.  Time at home is spent with her husband and daughter and the family enjoys fishing.  The household is kept active with her two dogs, two cats and tank of  fish.

Ashley is the most recent addition to the NCVC staff and joined the practice in August of 2010.  She received her veterinary assistant certificate from the North Coast Training Academy and has honed her nursing skills as a residential aide in an assisted living home.  She loves to read, listen to music, and spend time with her husband, son, three cats and four dogs.
