The decision to come into therapy is not taken lightly.

Sometimes it is hard to recognise there is a problem, but even when we do, it is not always easy to accept that we need help to understand what is going on in our lives. For some, trying to make sense of a problem that is affecting their quality of life, is a slow process. For others, the problem may be recent, but is causing pain and anxiety.

Although most people choose an open ended form of therapy, when we can look together in depth at problems, others opt for short term therapy, to focus on a specific problem. This is a good option for those who wish to benefit from an intensive exploration of a particular aspect of their lives.
