"Silent Voices" - an Exhibition by Francis Reynolds

Open to the public Monday-Saturday 11am - 3pm, 3rd June - 9th September
Since graduating from Loughborough University in 2012, Reynolds has engaged and impressed viewers with his vigorous and confident brushwork, combined with striking, bold colours.

The aim of this exhibition is to showcase a body of work that reflects a continuing determination to question the human condition in its many forms. Reynolds’ paintings often focus on isolated figures in ambiguous environments or combine multiple viewing angels of the same subject. From which, there is a sense of tension between traditional and contemporary figuration; from what has been to where it may develop. It can be said that Reynolds’ paintings show not only a journey of his subjects but a journey of the artist.

This exhibition reveals the passion of the ‘Silent Voices’ with some powerful pieces of art of Francis’s work that evoke thought and engagement in his expressive images and unique style of art; aptly summarised in the quote by Oprah Winfrey:
“The Biggest Adventure you can take is to live the life of your Dreams”

The Gallery welcomes back this exceptional individual artist and his work for this, his second one man show at the gallery.
