STARS (Success Through Academic Rigor and Support) focuses on 150 at-risk ninth grade students, and strives to help them succeed. These students meet daily in the NHS theater during Guided Study for extra support, mentoring, tutoring, workshops, and recognition ceremonies. Please see STARS highlighted in Atlanta Magazine

Success Through Academic Rigor and Support (STARS) pairs trained adult and peer-mentors with high risk Freshman students who are struggling in school or who show signs they might be struggling.  This program is supported by Norcross High School PTSA and focuses exclusively on Freshman students.
