Automotive Service Technology
The Automotive Service Technology program offers you the opportunity to become a skilled automotive service technician, providing you with the fundamental skills necessary to succeed.
In PCC’s Aviation Maintenance Technology program, we offer you the opportunity to enter an exciting field in less than two years, providing you with the skills you need to enter a robust industry that relies on high-quality technicians.
Computer Aided Design & Drafting
Computer Aided Design and Drafting CAD (formerly Drafting Technology and Design) program, you can earn a certificate within one year, providing the skills you need to obtain an entry-level position in the field.
With PCC’s computer science program, you can work on just about anything dealing with computers: from animating computer games to designing software. With a burgeoning job market, a career in computer science is always in demand.
PCC’s Criminal Justice program offers a variety of courses, providing an overview of the criminal justice system while also focusing on elements of criminal investigations, forensics and police report writing. Law enforcement agencies routinely seek our graduates because of the rigorous, comprehensive, and quality education we provide.
Our curriculum is designed to prepare you for the state and regional licensure examinations and for the clinical practice of dental hygiene. A broad-based education in dental sciences, clinical techniques, biological sciences and humanities prepares the graduate for work in private practice and community settings. Emergency Medical Services
PCC’s Emergency Services program is committed to the dynamic challenge of training and educating emergency medical technicians. PCC provides students with the solid foundation in emergency medicine necessary to enter this rewarding and exhilarating career.
PCC offers freshman and sophomore courses in chemical, civil, computer, electrical, environmental, industrial, manufacturing and mechanical engineering tailored to the needs of students transferring to 4-year universities.
At PCC’s Fire Protection Technology program, you can prepare for a rewarding career working in fire protection by gaining the knowledge you need. Working with the "tools of the trade", and expert instructors, you too can respond to the call.
Students can earn a Health Studies Focus Award which prepares them to pursue health studies and related programs at the bachelor level at many of Oregon's 4-year universities.
PCC’s Medical Assisting program provides you with the tools necessary to become a medical assistant. You will develop skills in the clinical and administrative aspects of the medical office. In our program, you can gain the entry-level skills necessary to be competitive in the workforce.
In our program, you will learn the knowledge and skills required for an entry-level nursing job, and qualify to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses, which is a requirement for practice as an Registered Nurse (RN).
Our Welding Technology program provides training in SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding), PAC (plasma-arc cutting), GMAW (gas metal arc welding), FCAW (flux-cored arc welding), OAW (oxyacetylene welding), OAC (oxyacetylene cutting), and basic fabrication.
