I am an experimental chemist working as an associate professor in Kyushu University, Japan. I am interested in creating new triplet science with the use of supramolecular chemistry, coordination chemistry, and colloidal chemistry. I am particularly interested in triplet-triplet annihilation-based photon upconversion (TTA-UC) for many applications ranging from renewable energy production to bioimaging and photodynamic therapy.
