SPRING TRACK

Haley McAveney breaks her own 3200m mark and places 6th at 

the Bergen County Meet of Champions (11:51.57).


Ryan Picinic places 5th in the 110HH with a season best time.


The rain does can not stop the team from putting together some outstanding performances 

at the County Group Championships.

What a day at League Championships!?!  The Lady Knights finish a strong 2nd behind 

Lyndhurst with strong performances in every event. Haley McAveney (3200m) and Caitlin 

Walsh (Pole Vault) took down League titles while Esmeralda Reyes (Javelin, 100 Hurdles) and 

Haley (1600m) placed 2nd. All in all the team scored in 13 of 16 events. 

The Lady Knights score in almost all events entered at Bergen County Relays!

The Shuttle Hurdle Relay of Walsh, Jasuale, Reyes and Supino recorded New Milfords best 

performance in the event in over 20 years running 1:11.4.  

With several parts missing the team managed to improve their record to 5-1 for the season

defeating Queen of Peace while bowing to Lyndhurst. Allison Supino (400IH) and Caitlin 

Walsh (PV) were the only two outright winners but the team produced 16 personal best 

performances on the day.


The team goes to 4-0 taking down Secaucus and Ridgefield as Haley McAveney completes the

 distance triple. Esmeralda Reyes, Allison Supino, Amarise Cabahug and Caitlin Walsh all won

 two events to help the cause.  


The shuttle hurdle team of Walsh, Jasuale, Reyes and Supino run a season best of 1:13.1 on a

frigid day at the Avaitor Relays placing 3rd. The discus relay or Soriano, Henyecz and 

Carberry placed 4th with a combine 231'6".

Great start to the new season!

The girls competed at the Pawlowski Relays in Ridgewood taking home medals in 9 races and 

placing 2nd in the small school division.
