The “Arts No Boundaries” Program
The Westchester County Chapter of the Links, Incorporated in partnership with the Mount Vernon School District proposes a 10 week curriculum for the Mandela High School after school program entitled Arts No Boundaries (ANB). ANB incorporates team building as well as individual expression. The creator and instructor for ANB is the renowned artist, Anton. In working with the Westchester County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, Anton and the chapter have developed the goal of: creating a ten week program where students are encouraged outside the norm or limits and show them another way of pursuing art, creating from within. By encouraging them to explore their imaginations and allowing them freedom to think "outside the box," they are creating their own unique style which if nurtured can become a Voice.
