Early Childhood Higher Education Task Force

Check out the following link for information about degree plans in early childhood education, teaching license requirements, course schedules and lots of other information!    This early childhood professional development website was created by the NM Early Childhood Higher Education Task Force, which has worked for many years to ensure that all institutions of higher education in New Mexico are offering high quality courses that meet the needs of early childhood educators and young children, and to coordinate the courses so that they will transfer from one institution to another.    Here is the link:  http://education.nmsu.edu/projects/cyfd/

The task force, which includes early childhood faculty members from colleges and universities throughout the state, meets several times a year.  The next meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at the New Mexico Association for the Education of Young Children/Early Childhood Alliance Office, 2201 Buena Vista SE, Suite 424, Albuquerque.   For more information about the task force, a person may contact Judith Fifield at the NM Office of Child Development,
