Nkumu Fed Fed

Started in 1996 as a local association of Bali Nyonga sisters, Nkumu Fed Fed (NFF), a Cameroonian based non-governmental organization, has since grown into an international network of women’s groups committed to improving the status and living conditions of vulnerable communities, notably women, youths and the girl child in rural areas. NFF works to ensure a sound development of the nation by promoting the economic empowerment of rural women, defending the rights of children across Cameroon and increasing public awareness on women’s health issues. With six branches in Cameroon, two in the United States and one in Great Britain, NFF uses a multifaceted approach to achieve its goals. Through sensitization trainings, advocacy workshops, micro-credit schemes and an array of other self-help development practices, NFF hopes to have a lasting impact on the lives of rural women and children in Cameroon.
