Annual General Meeting and the Fourth Symposium
Annual General Meeting of NJAA
The Annual General Meeting of NJAA was held on October 5, 2018 at Hotel Radisson, Lazimpat, Kathmandu and it was chaired by the President of NJAA, Dr. Rijan Bhakta Kayastha.
The Secretary of NJAA, Dr. Kundan Lal Shrestha presented the annual progress report and the plan of activities for the coming fiscal year.
The Treasurer of NJAA, Dr. Tara Nath Pande presented the annual income-expenditure report along with the audit report and the budget plan for the coming fiscal year.
The reports were ratified by the AGM.
The AGM decided to confer Honorary Membership of NJAA to His Excellency Masamichi Saigo, Ambassador of Japan to Nepal.
The AGM also ratified the formation of the new Executive Committee of NJAA.
The AGM was observed by the team of JSPS, Bangkok Office, led by its Director, Prof. Kuniaki Yamashita.
The Fourth Symposium of NJAA
The fourth symposium of Nepal Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Alumni Association (NJAA) was held on October 5, 2018 at Hotel Radisson, Lazimpat, Kathmandu, under the theme of "Sustainable Waste Management in Nepal: Challenges and Opportunities". The event was supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
