Niyati Baliyan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, Haryana, since November 2022. She is a Fellow IETE, Senior Member of IEEE, and Member ACM. She has attained Doctor of Philosophy from the Computer Science Department, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India in January 2016. She also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, U.K. Niyati obtained Chancellor’s Gold Medal for being University topper during post graduate studies at Gautam Buddha University. She has authored books with Springer and CRC Press. Besides, she has published in ACL, RecSys workshop, Computer Science Review (Elsevier), to name a few. Her research interests include-Knowledge Engineering, Semantic Web, Recommender systems, Generative AI, and Natural Language Processing.
