Who Should Attend
This is an introduction to IP for litigators, commercial and general practitioners who find that questions involving IP law occur increasingly frequently in their practices but it should also be useful to assistants and trainees who have recently joined specialist IP firms or departments and intend to specialize in IP or technology, media and telecommunications law.
The three hour course covers basic concepts and terminology, the courts, the IPO, EPO, OHIM and WIPO, where to find the law, copyright and related rights, patents, trade marks and registered designs. See the detailed programme below
Each delegate will receive a workbook containing speakers' notes, references to authorities, glossary and questions for discussion.
This course will take place in Merseyside on 29 September 2010.
