Inventors Handbook

Some of the best advice to inventors that I have seen anywhere is the European Patent Office's Inventors Handbook. Its pages cover
  • disclosure and confidentiality
  • competition and market potential
  • assessing the risk ahead
  • proving the invention
  • protecting the idea
  • building a team and seeking funding
  • business planning
  • finding and approaching companies
  • dealing with companies.
