Nina S. Hsu

I am a cognitive neuroscientist and psycholinguist in the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland in College Park. As an individual NRSA-funded post-doctoral fellow here, I work with Jared Novick to examine the cognitive psychology and neuroscience of language and cognitive control, using an array of behavioral, fMRI, and eye-tracking techniques.  I completed my dissertation at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, where I worked with Sharon Thompson-Schill.

As of August 2017, I am a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, supporting efforts of the NIH BRAIN Initiative through coordination and communication.
