Hi and welcome to my website!
I received a PhD in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt in 2018. Until May 2020 I was at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence. Since May 2020 I work as a policy advisor at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Germany.
My research interests lie in the fields of quantitative macroeconomics, (optimal) taxation, household finance, and behavioral macroeconomics. Methodologically, I use heterogeneous agent models and analyze empirically household survey data.
