A in-store, real-time personalization system: p.s. see: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sauron#Eye_of_Sauron) 1. Use a camera (see Buglabs) to capture a photo of a person at a point of sale (helmet cam/handheld). 2. Use the face.com API to figure out who that person is. 3. Grab metadata from FB about that person's likes, affiliations, present their dossier to sales clerk. 4. Use a recommendation engine to offer that person (or sales clerk) customized offers.
