Protected by abstraction

Interesting how much more effective drawing a person is to evoke some sort of emotion. I could draw some extremely detailed abstract peice which would end up being meaningless, yet a simple stick figure with expression would evoke more from a viewer. I guess it boils down to how we relate to what we see, if its abstract I suppose you could relate in a much broader yet dulled sense, more of an empty canvas. If it was a person, its something you could relate to and perhaps pinpoint a moment or feeling you've experienced before causing it to resurface within you.

It feels like im suffering from insomnia of creativity, I want to create but something is preventing me from it. I'm waiting for the mechanism to start the chain reaction building up. Anything I create looses interest to me before its even complete.
