Short Bio

I am a Director at Meta and support the Central Applied Science team (formerly Core Data Science). The work of the team leverages innovative research to drive impact to the company's products such as Facebook and Instagram, and to our infrastructure and processes. We draw inspiration from a rich and diverse set of disciplines including Operations, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Statistics, Economics, Mechanism Design, and Experimentation (in no particular order). Between 2014 and 2017, I supported the Economics, Algorithms and Optimization team, which is one the pillars of Central Applied Science. Prior to joining Meta, I was an Associate Professor at the Decision, Risk and Operations Division of Columbia Business School and at the Business School of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. I received a Ph.D. degree from the Operations Research Center of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
