Before 2022, I was an assistant professor of economics at the School of Economics and Business at the University of Chile, as well as a researcher at the Center for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies (COES).
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014, where Ken Wolpin was my advisor.
My research focuses on the economics of crime and education, development economics, inequality, discrimination, and labor economics.
