RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research is concerned with the development of new algorithms for distributed and probabilistic Artificial Intelligence in a framework of bounded rationality. A wide range of applications are considered to solve planning and control, machine learning, computer vision and multi-agent systems tasks under limited and uncertain resources. Computational and mathematical models used include neural networks, markov decision processes, reinforcement learning, probabilistic graphical models, automated reasoning, information theory and statistical physics techniques.

Implications of the developed methodologies in the areas of Robotics, Cognitive Science and Complex Systems are also considered.
