Originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, I received my B.A. from Macalester College (St. Paul, Minnesota) and my M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Finance at the Vienna Graduate School of Finance (VGSF). Furthermore, I have been a CFA Charterholder since 2014.
Prior to joining VGSF, I worked as an investment banker and a management consultant for over five years at Bank of America and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At Bank of America, I was involved in cross-border structured finance transactions. At BCG I
specialized in finance topics and was a member of the European Corporate Finance Task Force.
My research interests lie primarily in theoretical corporate finance, contract theory, asset pricing, and game theory.
In my spare time, I play chess and basketball. I am also an avid lindy hop dancer.
