Welcome to my research website.

I am currently a post-doc in the Lab of Dr. Nico Cellinese working on the evolution of the "Bellflower" Family, Campanulaceae.

I recently graduated from the University of Florida, Department of Biology, advised by Drs. Pamela and Douglas Soltis in the Florida Museum of Natural History.

One of my main research interests is the evolution of carnivorous pitcher plants, specifically the genetic changes that were involved in the evolution of the pitcher shape from flat leaves.
