Norwell High School
Parent Teacher Organization

Please support us with dues, so we can support YOUR child! :) Here is the link to pay your dues ($25 or any amount that works for your family) and check it off of your list for good this year! Dying to volunteer with us? Email Committees are found here! The NHS PTO cordially welcomes each and every parent to attend any monthly meeting that is convenient for you! We meet usually meet once monthly. We really enjoy having parents at the meeting who want to know what's going on in the high school and hear the Principal's report on high school activites each month. We love and encourage new ideas and new volunteers! We run on family contributions and this year we have made it even easier for families to give any amount of dues they can. We hope to increase our family involvement to 100%, as opposed to last year which saw only 43% of families doing their part. 100% of PTO monies go toward supporting your child, and EVERY child, every day, every year. So, please consider supporting us so we can help your child. What do we do anyway? The PTO provides support for programs and educational and extracurricular materials that benefit ALL students at NHS. We finance guest speakers for student/parent programs, finance 100% of grants to teachers for enhancing their classrooms and curriculum, and assist in financing student activities throughout the year. In the prior school year alone, your PTO has funded over $20,000 for our STUDENTS, FACULTY and COMMUNITY. Your PTO has supported: Teacher grants Pizza party for our freshman Teacher and faculty appreciation Guest speakers Poetry Out Loud MCAS snacks CPR Training for seniors a refrigerator for the gym concession stand NHS Beautification Committee the beautiful Community Room Flags that wave with Clipper pride throughout our campus Prom Graduation ...on and on and on.... All parents and guardians of Norwell High School students are members of the PTO. BUT we can't do it without your help. Please pay your dues on the payment page. Everyone is warmly invited to attend monthly meetings that provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas between parents, NHS administration, and teachers, AND become directly involved in raising and allocating support toward the needs of the school. If you are unable to attend meetings, you can still be kept in the loop by reading the meeting minutes here. Feel free to contact any member of the Board or the general inbox with feedback or suggestions:
