New Referee Training

New referee certification:
Classes are complete for 2016 certification.  If you are interested in becoming a referee, check back in late June / early July when classes are posted to begin certification for 2017.

Entry Level Referee class graduates will be certified as "Grade 8" referees and will be certified to officiate youth soccer games under the affiliation of US Soccer. Please note this is most of the soccer in NH with the exception of High School and Middle School soccer. 
The new class consists of three components:
  1. eLearning, or on line component. The referee is required to complete the eLearning section PRIOR to attending the class session. This can be done at your own pace as long as you complete it prior to the date of the class session.  Time to complete is approximately 2 hours and includes an exam
  2. 5 hour classroom session designed to reinforce and expand on the on line portion.
    1. We STRONGLY REQUEST a parent or guardian of any youth referee attend the first approximately 30-45 minutes of this session as we will discuss annual certification and training requirements and the support provided by the State Referee Committee
  3. 3 hour field session
    1. Please dress accordingly as there will be running involved. This IS AN ACTIVE SESSION, running and active participation in on field drills and games is required.
