        • What is one thing you see as the same in this unit to what you usually do for this topic?
        • What is one thing that is different?
        • What are the SEP's and CCC's used in this unit and how do you think you will adapt these for your classes?
        • What will you need in order to teach this unit in YOUR classroom? 
        • What Earth Science PE's are being used?
        • How do you see the EP and C's being used? 
      • Product will be a poster sheet pictorially answering at least some of these guiding questions for each IS

      Creating a conceptual flow (modified version)
      Step 1: Select the main topic that you are outlining.  Then fill in smaller topics/concepts that a student must know about this topic (yellow post its)
      Step 2: Using the framework determine where in your preliminary map the PEs would align (white/grey post-its)
      Step 3: Using the framework determine where in your map the CCCs would align (green post-its)
      Step 4: Identify a phenomenon or phenomena that align with your map of concepts (bright pink post its)
      Step 5: Identify where the EP&Cs should be placed in your map (light purple post its)
      • Lesson Criteria
      • Break into your NEW groups
      • Choose an Instructional Segment that you think aligns with your ideas 
      • Identify the PES you would like to focus on for your IS
