Newcastle Gang Show - Launching 2018 Show

An Invitation to all Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network, and Leaders come and be a part of the Gang Show Experience. Parents and helpers are also invited to hear about what is involved or assist in any way so do please come along too. Many of you may not know what a Gang Show is but it is part of the Scouting programme and thousands like YOU have been members over the last 80 years in Newcastle


1st rehearsals take place on Sunday 7th January 2018 at Simonside Methodist Church 2-4pm
The show week is Tuesday 3rd – Saturday 7th April 2018 at the People’s Theatre, Heaton.
You will be advised of normal rehearsal times on 7th January.
First day and every 1st Sunday in the month in full uniform.

Cubs, Scouts & Explorers got talent? Ever wanted to appear on Stage?

An Invitation to take part in the Newcastle Gang Show 2017

2017’s Gang Show is extra special as we celebrate our 80th anniversary! The world’s oldest Gang Show! Join us for singing, dancing and laughs as lots of talented young people like you take to the People's Theatre stage to perform a wide range of musical numbers, packed full of upbeat song & dance accompanied by comedy skits & sketches. With numbers from today's charts to traditional Gang Show classics all played by our live band, our 2017 show promises to be a spectacular variety show perfect for you to show off your talents.

Launch Day
Sunday 8th January 2 - 4pm at Heaton Methodist Church. Come and meet us. Bring your parents (if they want) along for a cup of tea or coffee and a presentation at 2pm by Geoff (Gang Show Chair). There is no need for you to commit but registration forms will be available. We would love to see you there.

Show Time!

6 Performances : Tuesday 18th April until Saturday 22nd April at 7pm and Saturday Matinee at 2pm at The Peoples Theatre, Heaton.

Every Sunday from 1 - 4pm at Heaton Methodist Church* starting January 8th (launch day is only 2 – 4) until show week. (Parents do not need to stay – they can pop to the Corner House for Sunday lunch!)

Dance rehearsals are Thursday nights 6.30-7.30 at Newcastle College of Performing Arts* (if you are involved)

How Old?
You must be 8 years old by 18th April 2017 and be invested.

Welcome to the new website for Newcastle Gang Show! Here we hope to keep you informed with the latest updates and news around the show, but also give you an insight into our history and our previous productions.
