New Glarus Music Fest

New Glarus Music Fest, the annual entertainment event produced by the New Glarus Youth Committee, is Memorial Day weekend Friday night, May 22, & Saturday - Sunday, May 23 - 24, 2020. Music Fest is beyond the confines of a singular tent and the entire village is invited to get involved.

Contact us if you are an entertainer who would like to perform or if you are a business interested in a sponsorship opportunity and/or hosting a musical act.

The Youth Committee is inviting retail outlets, restaurants, taverns, etc. to host musical acts over the course of the weekend. Musicians will play at participating businesses with headliners later in the evenings. Businesses may have a polka band, guitar-player, violinist, rock band, etc. The more unique, the better! It’s about presenting music in any form.

The New Glarus Youth Committee raises funds for scholarships, the annual Fifth Grade Field Trip to Chicago, Lunch with Santa, the Krafty Kids Summer Program, Post Prom Party and a “matching funds” program for projects led by New Glarus youth.

Any business that would like to take part in this year’s Music Fest as a venue, a musical act or as a sponsor can contact the Youth Committee at ngyouthcomm@gmail.com or facebook.com/NewGlarusMusicFest

The information below regarding the details of the event (food, schedule, etc.) is from Music Fest 2019. We are currently working on the details for 2020. This website will be updated as those details are finalized.

Food

In addition to the delicious food at the restaurants downtown, there will also be a Ruef's brat stand, Edelweiss grilled cheese stand, and a wine stand by Maple Leaf.

Special for Friday, May 24: The Lions Club will serve their delicious BBQ chicken dinner again this year at The Village Park on Friday evening + Larry Daehn playing the accordion = Best.Friday.Ever.
