Nov 2017 Nomad Story Slam - Election Edition - The candidates running for contested seats in Newton elections were all invited to tell a story.  No campaigning, no speeches, just a personal story.  19 of them came including the two mayoral candidates and many City Council and School Committee candidates.

Oct 2017 - God of Carnage by
Yesmina Reza.  Linda Goetz, Billy Meleady, Noni Lewis and Conor Seamu Moroney turned this tony award winning play into a Newton story.  Directed by Paula Plum.

Sept 2017 Nomad Story Slam 13 at the Hyde Bandstand

June 2017 - All in the Timing by David Ives.  Noni Lewis, Billy Meleady, Sarah Morisette, Matt Winberg in six outrageous one act comedies directed by Nicole Galland and Billy Meleady

Jan - Feb, 2017 Doubt by John Patrick Shanley - Linda Goetz, Matt Winberg, and Ramona Lisa Alexander featured in this Pulitzer prize winning drama.  Directed by Billy Meleady
Nov 2016 - Nomad Story Slam 10 - "That was odd"

Sept - Oct, 2016 Someone Who'll Watch Over Me - Frank McGuiness.   Chris Burke, Derek Stone Nelson, and Steve Vaughan were three main chained to a wall in a cell in Lebanon.  Billy Meleady directed

Aug 2016 - Nomad Story Slam 9 - an outdoor event at the Hyde Bandstand

April - May, 2016 A Picasso by Jeffrey Hatcher featuring Linda Goetz and Stephen Cooper.  Performances included an artist's studio in Newton (Patty Simon), a glass making studio in Mission Hill (Diablo Glass) and an artist loft in Fort Point Channel (Mary Driscoll)

- Nomad Story Slam 8 - "trouble"

Feb - March,  2016 Molly Sweeney by Brian Friel featuring Noni Lewis, Stephen Cooper and Billy Meleady - both acting and directing.  A highlight of this production was a performance for a largely blind audience at the Carrol Center for the Blind.

Sept - Oct, 2015 - The Compass Rose by Ronan Noone featuring Steven O'Broin and Bree Louise was the New England premier of Noone's play and was presented in an "immersive" style in which the theater goers arrived to find themselves in the middle of an anniversary party and then the play suddenly began amidst the audience.

July 26, 2015 - Nomad Story Slam 5 - "summertime" - Our first outdoor slam at the Hyde Bandstand in Newton Highlands

May 22, 2015 - Nomad Story Slam 4 - "a long way from home".  Part of the Newton Arts Festival.  Featured stories from three Newton authors - Gail Spector, Nelson Lipshutz, and David Kalis

May - June, 2015
- Beauty Queen Of Leenane by Martin McDonagh  - This stripped down production of the Irish black comedy featuring Linda Goetz, Dave Rich, Matt Phillips, and Lida McGirr, directed by Joey DeMita.

- Nomad Story Slam 3  - It was a full house and a great night of stories once again at Gregorian Rugs.   "Imagine my surprise".

March 30, 2015 - The Winding Stream - a benefit screening of Beth Harrington's feature length documentary about "the Carters, The Cashes and the course of country music" with live music by Crowe's Pastures and Deborah Silverstein.

Feb - March, 2015 - The Turn of the Screw by Jeffrey Hatcher.   This chilling telling of a ghost story featuring Marge Dunn as the governess and Billy Meleady in four other roles, brought Henry James age old tale to life.  This production included our first living room performance

Jan 23, 2015 - Nomad Story Slam 2 - Another fabulous roster of walk-in story tellers and special invited guest Newton Alderman Scott Lennon

Nov 2014 - First Nomad Story Slam - This experiment of an event was hugely popular and launched a regular series.  This kick off story slam featured Newton Mayor Setti Warren and 22 other folks who through their names into the hat to tell some wonderful stories

Sept - Nov 2014 - Faith Healer by Brian Friel with Dave Rick, Kinda Goetz and Billy Meleady, directed by  Marie Jackson was the theater's maiden production.  It played to full houses, great reviews and was extended twice.
