Newton Nomadic Theater

Long before Nicole Galland became a NY Times bestselling author she was an award winning actor, director and the founder of Shakespeare for the Masses.

We'll be bringing Nicole and three of our favorite actors to Newton for a unique behind-the-scenes look at that most mysterious of theater arts - directing.

What is directing?  What does the director do?  How do they effect the performances you see on the stage?

The evening will be organized around a selection of short scenes from Shakespeare.  Each scene will be presented repeatedly with different directorial choices and startling different results.

The cast will include two Newton Nomadic veterans - Noni Lewis (All in the Timing, Molly Sweeney), Steve Vaughan (A Christmas Carol- Scrooge, Someone Who'll Watch Over Me) and a wonderful new face for our theater - Abigail Dickson.

Join us after the performance for a discussion and Q/A with the actors and director.
