keep it simple, travel light, and move from place to place.
The Newton Nomadic Theater is dedicated to producing simply staged, high quality theater in interesting and unconventional theater spaces in and around Newton.  In between theatrical productions the theater also regularly hosts Nomad Story Slams, Moth radio inspired nights of story telling.

The Nomad Story Slam comes back to Gregorian Rugs on Friday Nov 16, 7:30 PM.  The theme of the night is "Timing is everything"

Guest Storytellers
* Melanee Addison who'll be featured on an upcoming episode of PBS Stories From the Stage
* Steve Siegel - Newton School Committee member

Throw your name in the hat and tell us your own 5 minute "timing is everything" story ... or just come and listen to great stories from your neighbors and friends.  These Moth Radio Hour inspired events are always a great night!

If you've never been you'll love it.  All kinds of stories - wild, funny, poignant, wacky, emotional told by regular folks.

(Advance tickets get preferred seating)

Nomad Story Slam host Jerry Reilly was featured this month on PBS's nationally broadcast Stories From the Stage.   He's the middle story (time=8:40) but you have to watch a commercial first.
