About Us

New Milton Sands WI was formed in 2010 and is a vibrant rapidly growing local branch of the Hampshire County Federation of Women’s Institutes that meets in the evening to suit those who cannot attend daytime meetings.

Events include talks by interesting and entertaining speakers, demonstrations and workshops on varied  subjects.

There are also an expanding number of interest groups (including  Book Clubs, Sew, Knit & Natter, Lunch Club, and Film Club) that meet to pursue activities outside of the regular monthly meetings.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at The  New Milton Community Centre, Corner Spencer Rd  and  Osborne Rd  BH25 6EA.  (click here for map).    Meetings start at 7.30pm (unless otherwise noted in the Events diary).

Currently we have over 70 members, but do have  vacancies.  Prospective members/visitors are welcome to attend three meetings a year, (first visit is free and the two subsequent visits allowed are £3.50).

Membership fees are £41.00 per annum for 2018.

For membership and other enquiries please goto the Contact Us page and complete the online enquiry form.
