The New Jersey USGenWeb Project
(also known as "NJGenWeb") is an internet-based project, created and maintained by volunteers, and dedicated to offering free New Jersey genealogy (and sometimes history) resources to the general public.
The NJGenWeb State Coordinator is Denise Wells. Our Assistant State Coordinators are Brianne Kelly-Bly and Linda K. Lewis.

If you are interested in volunteering for this project, please review our "Volunteer" page and contact us! There are many ways to participate. If you have an idea or comment please let us know.

The Hunterdon Republican Newspaper [1856 to 1953] is now being put up to the Internet for use by Genealogists, Historians, and the Public in General.  Items containing names of people who lived or had a link to Hunterdon County, N.J., are abstracted and indexed. The Project is under development and will take a few years for completion.

not know the county of origin (of the individuals or events you are researching), then the "Research" section should be your starting point.
