Camogie U8 


Pictured here the Rockwell Rovers Camogie U8 team who won all their matches last Sat 7 May at the County Go-Blitz in The Ragg. They played against Toomevara, Ballybacon and Upperchurch. Well done to this young team !

FEILE 16

Feile is a national hurling competition held annually for U14 teams. Rockwell/Rosegreen will be hosting a team from Derry and Rockwell Camogie are hosting a team from Wicklow for the weekend of 17 to 19 June. We will also be entertaining our guests on Friday and Saturday of that weekend. As all Clubs locally are hosting teams also, accomodation will be at a premium so if anyone can provide accommodation for guests (i.e. Parents of children involved) on Friday and Saturday of the competition or need more info re Feile 16, please contact Conor English asap on 086 1988201 (after 6pm). Your support is much appreciated !

TIDY TOWNS -"SPRING/SUMMER IS IN THE AIR"

Members of Tidy Towns are hoping to meet up at the car park opposite church every Thursday evening (weather permitting) from 7pm. If anyone has an hour  to spare - your help would be much appreciated.

 CEMETERY MASSES

“Remembering our loved ones” The annual masses will take place as follows: On Tues 31 May at New Inn, Tues 7 June at Loughkent, Tues 14 June at Knockgraffon and Tue 21 June at Lagganstown. All these Masses are at 7.30pm, weather permitting, otherwise at the nearest Church. Please ensure graves are tidy & altar arranged.

 PARISH LINKS

NEW INN FESTIVAL

An AGM was held recently and following officers were elected or returned: President: John Landy, Chairperson: Kevin Barron, Vice Chairperson: Pat O’Brien, Secretary: Esther Boland, Assistant Secs: Breeda O’Donnell & Conor English, Joint Treasurers: Eileen Halley & PJ Moloney, PRO’s :Sandra English & Paddy O’Connor(Bellvue), Committee members – see Facebook New Inn Festival official for more details. 

Dates for your diary - Fun run/walk on Sat 11 June – Festival weekend on Fri/Sat/Sun - 24/25/26 June. More details nearer the time.

CAMOGIE 

Well done to the Rockwell Rovers Camogie U8 team who won all their matches on Sat 7 May at the County Go-Blitz in The Ragg. They played against Toomevara, Ballybacon and Upperchurch. Also well done to the U10 team who played at the county blitz last Sat at The Ragg. They played against Newport, Borrisoleigh and Boherlahan. Well done to these young teams and their mentors. 

CONGRATULATIONS

to Claire Ryan, a 6th class student from Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal, New Inn has been selected to represent Tipperary in the Primary Games. Claire will be playing at the Tipp vs Cork match in Semple Stadium next Sunday May 22. Be sure to support her if you attending the match. Best of luck Claire! Up Tipp!!!
